For those about to rock

Who here plays a musical instrument? I've been playing the electric guitar for about a month, but I've been playing a ton. For those of you who know about guitar, I've already gone through 4 sets of strings in one month! Granted, I play them hard, but still, that's a lot of strumming and plucking.

Of course I have a lot to learn, but I really enjoy playing and was just wondering if anyone here plays an instrument. Any instrument at all. How long have you been playing? Are you in a band?

In case you're wondering (or care) I have a jam band in which I sing and play rhythm guitar. It's just two guitars, a set of drums, and funny enough, a keyboard! We're waiting on our friend (who plays bass) to be done with the Air Force. We're just a bunch of good friends having fun and we're not taking ourselves too seriously, but we've already got a few songs put together.

Anyone interested in learning the guitar, your first song should be "Horse with no name" by America. Only two chords and an easy strumming pattern! It gave me the confidence to learn other songs. Another good song for a beginner is Iron Man by Black Sabbath, minus the solo of course.
