Werdum's title shot

is he really gonna have to wait until sometime in the spring of next year? tuf 8 should be over sometime in december and then mir and nog have to fight. then werdum has to wait even longer to fight the winner of that fight. do you think the ufc will throw in a fight or two for fabricio just to give him something to do?
