In a couple of weeks, I join the 40-something club that includes Old, Bald and Irish and you. Nice! (Funny that you're born on Halloween and Old, Bald and Irish has that as his anniversary. My anniversary is October 30.)

And yes, one of the reasons I picked Halloween for my wedding is so I would NOT forget the date!

Turns out we never get to do anything on our anniversary because we're always out trick-r-treatin' with my daughter!

Have you shot anything lately? 'Bet you were creamin' over that Brock vid of him stickin' an arrow in a deer. I give him credit for bow hunting. That's a lot harder than a gun...but not nearly as quick!

OMG! I just googled "spoonbill". Those things can get HUGE! That looks like fun fishing. I've mostly done salt water fishing, but the past few years I've been getting into fresh water fishing...and getting a little better at it. I'm a crappy fisherman. Don't really care 'cause I just love being on the water. What do they say? "A bad day fishing beats a good day at work", right?

Wow! You got a boar problem? The worst I have to worry about is the occasional skunk!

I saw on your profile you bow hunt. What do you hunt? My brother-in-law (a super cool cop) bow hunts too. He's really into wilfd turkey (gun not bow). They have a limited season in Jersey and I'm told they are quite elusive.

I've often thought about getting a compound bow. They're so much fun.

So you must be in the sticks of Missouri, or what? I'm a suburbs boy but I spent my entire childhood in the wilderness before things got built up. I love the outdoors. Luckily, my daughter does too.

By the way, in regard to your comment about the feral wild boar hunting: Can you eat them? Or do they eat so much crap that you woudn't wanna eat 'em? I mean, 4 boars would be a LOT of meat! You'd be swimming in bacon!
