Default Do you train?

I notice most people I hear talking about MMA have opinions about everyone and know everything but have never stepped foot inside a gym. So really, they don't know squat other than what they see. Which after going from that to someone who trains, is a completely different world. It makes you understand how someone can be gassed, or why people do things in the ring/cage, and overall just helps you respect the sport 1000x more. Not that someone who has never trained can't respect it, but in reality you'll never understand it like someone who has sparred/grappled/rolled on some mats and worked up a sweat.

Personally, I train BJJ. Even after my first week (Which was about a year ago) it changed my whole perspective on everything MMA. The school is a BJJ school but people also train NHB there on off nights and we have quite a few actual fighters.

-For example the friends that come over and watch the UFC's love it but don't know squat. I like the company but I am constantly explaining everything. For example they didn't understand the mount, I am screaming BUMP BUMP and they didn't get it. I had my friend try to mount and keep the mount, one Bump/Upa Escape and he was on his back.
