HOT DAMN! Did that make up for last night or WHAT?

After the first fight it was solid MMA gold. Exciting, technical fights with extremely talented fighters. I was impressed! Fantastic commentary from Frank Mir, his knowledge of the sport and educated insight added alot to the event.

It was cool to see Cowboy win after watching that episode of Tapout he was featured in. Munoz's victory was refreshingly awesome, he displayed some seriously brutal ground and pound. Frank got on his case about positioning, but it's hard to blame the guy for not hugging tight when he's posturing up for bombs like those.

How about Miguel Torres? Wow. This is the first time I've seen him fight, I was impressed to say the least. That was one hell of a fight! Maeda walked into the cage to the beastie boys and left the cage bloody and bruised with his head held high. He showed outstanding sportsmanship, I'd like to see more of him. Torres is such a good fighter... One point that stood out to me was early in the first round when he was on his back and he spread his legs out almost into a full split (like a cheerleader I mean), and then snapped them back together faster than I can do that with my hands. I don't know which top 5 fighter to call him the miniature version of, Fedor, Silva, or Penn... I suppose he could be described as the demon offspring of all 3.

Faber vs. Pulver. Oh. My. God. Cagegasm.
